Tonight’s lunar eclipse is also the first time in 372 years that also happens to mark the beginning of the winter solstice.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, someone out there probably has documented your failure.

Winter Solstice marks the time at which the sun is at the southernmost point in the sky. Naturally, my family vacations are directed northward.
